    Simple dowel maker jig made with construction washers



    Using ordinary and cheap construction washers for the cutting parts - makes this simple and cheap. If the edges get dull I can change just that specific one, instead of throwing the entire jig away.

    Thank you very much! This is an adaption of the more common (as far as my knowledge takes me) using holes in angle/L-iron.

    Works well. I have used some thick steel plate for years butyours is better for non metal workers. I only have 3 sizes so I may consider doing other sizes with your idea. They need to be precise for great fitting hardwood wooden threads.

    Thank you very much! For more precision I would suggest using a drill press or pillar drill, not like me - with a hand held drill. :-) Thanks again!
