    Smartphone Support on a Tripod

This is another one of my homemade tools that is so simple that I'm a bit embarrassed to even write it up. Yet, it does a good job of holding my smartphone on my tripod so maybe it will work for you.

Needed something like this 2 weeks ago when a reader was asking me for a video of pressing brackets for my MG.

So simple and easy to add 2 rubber bands if you want to use the phone in a more acute angel.

The PVC is a close fit on the smartphone case. I've had the camera almost horizontal without any problem. But if it started to slip, your idea of rubber bands is the perfect solution.

    Thanks,
