    String winder, powered version

And here is version 2, more simple, and powered with the cordless drill :

I made the rectangular hollow shape differently, this time I turned the main beechwood shaft with a shoulder, cut the center part with the band saw, and then glued a boxwood ring on the shoulder.

I have to find a lighter cordless screw driver to make it more handy, but this is really efficient.

    Cheers !

Pulling the string taut for minutes and winding them is time consuming. Great idea on the powered winder.
