    Tangential tool holder.

    Tagential tool holders.
These are a couple of tool holders I’ve made. One takes a square 3/16” bit, the other (prior to welding) takes a round bit. The third is a left/right tool holder and obviously not meant to hold two bits at once (not much point). I use these tool holders all the time now and they work well.

The holders were made of two sections welded together and linished. The tool slot is cut so the tool sits at a 45 degree angle, it’s clamped in place by a slotted clamp which is tightened via a 5mm allen head,

Beautiful workmanship TH62! I like the way you left room to get up close to the work with them. Curious how the dual one works and how you use it? Thanks for sharing! ~PJ

The dual holder is used in the same manner as the others. Only one cutting bit in place at a time depending on whether you want a LH or RH tool.
