    Lightbulb Tap extensor rod

I had a problem doing threads like that....

So, I created a extension rod

Now I can reach any place.

Very useful tool, just curious as to why you are tapping into a suspension bush.

Polyurethane bushings are noisy when dry. I'm adding grease fittings to easly lube them.

Cascao, I want to say thanks for the marvelous idea. When I first saw the picture, I did not see the tap handle hitting the shock absorber. Rather, I saw the inherent problem of keeping the tapping handle steady while initiating the thread cuts. Did the extension rod make it a big difference in ease of tapping with steadiness and better precision? I hope so. I will certainly have one made like that and maybe, use it as much as possible. I have "ten thumbs", you know. Thanks again!

Thanks Joe. As a side effect, I feel that with longer stem, yes is easier to spot tap misalignment.
