    Tiny boring bar

    Hi
For a very special work in the musical instrument area, I had the need of a very small boring bar.
I simply has the idea to reuse somewhat my D-bit design, which ended up working pretty well.
It's only 4 mm in diameter.

I do not understand the two comment about his little boring bar. What part do you not understand. It's is a 4 mm bar cut like a "D" reamer, which usually cuts a finished hole exactly but in his case he is using it like a boring bar to make the hole bigger. I think he did a nice job of it and thank you for sharing with us.

I think the 4mm bar is purchased @ size and he only machined the "D portion" He is in Europe and "If Needed" would most likely have to machine to obtain "Imperial Sizes" 0.125, 0.250 etc.
