Tools from the gun shop
The bore brushes made for cleaning firearm barrels have many uses in the shop. My favorite application is removing swarf from freshly tapped holes. They're cheap and the ends come already threaded so making handles for them is a doodle.
The topmost item in the photo is two calibers of shotgun "mops" attached to a handle. The larger 12 gauge one is used to clean the taper in the tailstock. These work very well because metallic swarf loves to tangle in the soft, clingy material of the mop so very little escapes.

Me at counter of Cabela's a local but well established retail sporting chain.
I look perturbed, in front of a cleaning goods display.
Sales clerk appears. "Can I help you"?
Why yes, I need #1 through#5 MT brushes and mops. . .
