Hi bstanga ! You should update the post with your second video which gives actually the method : 70 rpm, lots of coolant and back and forth.
I am in the process of making some rings out of Titanium, but I am very scared with that, I need to drill 20 mm ...
I will try anyway, I will tell after ...

Thanks for the suggestion Brian, I agree.
I also saw someone not really boring the whole inner stuff , but digging just a groove at the tip, corresponding to the inner diameter of the ring, then parting off. He shapes a special carbide tool for doing that.
I am yet more scared, having read since that the chips can be easily flammable, especially if I try to grind the Titanium.
Have you any experience regarding that ?
From my experience running over 450 RPM's and producing a small chip could result in some fire action. I keep the rpms down now and a small bucket of sand near by just in case. Below is a clip of some Titanium being lit.
