Any one have any ideas on how to make a brake line tubing straightner.
Thanks in advance,
Can you provide more detail on what you are trying to do? In other words, are you trying to take old brake lines and straighten them back out? Or fix a new brake line that was bent in the wrong spot?
Tubing tends to work harden when you bend it, so if a tube has been bent more than a few degrees, it's already work hardened in that area.
Any pictures to share what you are trying to do?
Kent is right, straightening used tubing is far different than identical material from a spool. Most successful efforts use two rows of wheels, positioned in alternating fashion, not directly opposite. Adjust spacing for material with cams or threaded fasteners. Tubing benefits in wheels having a concave surface.
