    - Ultimate circle cutting guide-

    Made a new tool.

Its a circle cutting guide that can be used with non-ferrous metals too, also with wood.

    Material cost about 17$

Made it as a prototype for a commercial manufacturing, but i tought i could share the idea with diy people too.
Actual commercial product will be little different, but the idea is similar.

10$ suction cup ( made for lifting windows etc )

I made it mountable to my 125mm angle grinder and plunge router, but it can be mounted to jig saw, plasma cutter... etc
Works with every non-porous surface. Mdf, plywood, plastics, glass, metals, stone, tiles...

Originally i designed smaller version from this, for the be used with dremel rotary tool.
To cut circles / holes / arches, to tiles ( with tungsten carbide blade ) and for engraving circles / arches to glass.( with diamond wheel )

Bigger version should cut tiles / stone too, with diamond cut off wheel.

Arms can be lock to set distance by tightening M5 screws on the sides.

6mm rods works as an arms. These rods go trough the blocks made from 20 x 20mm bar.

Holes where these rods goes trough the bar. Are located so, that holes hit to the 10mm holes of the swiveling axle. 10mm axle is grooved from this section, around the axle, from both ends.

I made those grooves with dremel using tungsten carbide cutter.

These 6mm axle leans to the grooves, this locks the swiveling head sideways, and keeps it centered with the bearings, that are located to the center of the suction cup.

More info at the plans itself.

    Ask if you have questions.

Thank you for checking this out.

This is absolutely awesome. I have been doing the old fashion way with a compass or if its bigger a piece of string tied to my sharpie and hold the other end. This will cut my time from 1 hour + to 5 - 10 minutes.
