    Vise modification for simple metal bending and forming tasks.

    Got this kind of idea today..

    I had to try it.

    Version 1. With adjustable jaw


    ts kind of vise mod for bending and forming flats / plates on vise.

    Simplified version 2.

    I remember life before I got a press and then a press brake! I wish I had made a set up like yours rather than scrounging around the scrap bin for suitable bits each time I had to bend a flat or rod.

    I actually made that extra jaw for the press in first place.

    Made some improvements.. now its better and actually i think that this is my best idea so far. Its so simple, but useful.

    Didn't expect this, but thank you.
    I have planned to make plans for the coming vise.
    So, actual video should be " how to assemble made parts" style.
    That way it should be more useful if one wants to duplicate it.

    I have also made plans to that vise that i used with this mod, just needs to turn them to pdf and upload somewhere.
