    VW Engine Stand from Hospital Bed Table

    I have a "heavy" Engine stand that weighs more than the VW engine. I wanted something lighter. I found this Hospital bed side table on the side of the road, the rest of the steel was an old lawnmower bracket and some pipe from an old trailer jack. Seams to work but I need to add a set screw to keep it from rotating. Figure I saved a $100

    Thanks for this post. Gave me an idea of how much weight these kinds of tables can support, and what I can do with them.

    if you happen to sit on one they will hold you up as long as you sit on the end that has the vertical riser. sit on the other end and you owe the hospital a new one saw that happen once.
