    Step 1. Cut 10" long piece of H-beam.

    Step 2 . Smash axe to one end of it.

    Step 3. Weld a little mild steel plate to other end of the H-beam.

    Very simple but working solution

    No, it won't scratch..

    Axe is weld to the stand inside the "split section".

    3M borrowed it to the faire starting tomorrow, they hoped it to be attached so that it doesn't fall off and hurt someones feets.
    I tought welding is the best option. So, i need to finish it again after the faire.

    Very interesting to watch , plus see other ways to skin a cat..... How long to make that axe? Which disks do you use for the angle grinder? Is rail track made from steel which can be hardened/do you harden the axe ?
