Homemade hammer drill adapted from an impact socket welded to a 1/2" Grade 8 fine-thread bolt to facilitate mounting of the Jacobs chuck. Powered by a CP pneumatic drill.

Technically, a hammer drill rotates and moves the drill bit forward and backward, hence the hammer term.  I don't think this one hammers.  Impact yes, hammer, no.

Cool adaptor. Sometime, an electric drill just doesn't have enough power.
