DESCRIPTION:
Homemade chuck adaptor intended to allow for mounting of a 4-jaw independent chuck to a 1.5"x8 TPI spindle. Machined from a blank adaptor plate.

Looks interesting - need to do something similar with 3.5 inch X 6 tpi spindle to 14/15 inch chucks, but need to produce location recess and either bolts or maybe camlock arrangement as a straight screwed spindle in the larger sizes is dangerous (eg reverse running and then stopping!). Any further info available?

Good job. Cannot do any metal machining, but it's good to know how to do this project
