Really like the look of your mallet! Just a comment based on my own experience making mallets for timberframing. With heavy use, 1 1/2" to 2" mortis chisels, A glued up head never lased. I hope with just cutting dovetails n such it will last you a long time. The mallets I used likely should have been metal banded. Eric
