Homemade Tweezer-Style Soldering Iron
DESCRIPTION:
Homemade tweezer-style soldering iron constructed from brass and plexiglass. Utilizes copper tips and heavy-gauge wire.

Perhaps someone could clarify this for me. A "normal" soldering iron has connected tips. This one is obviously connected when the tweezer tips both touch the workpiece. If this is exactly the same, why wouldn't the builder have his tweezer tips meeting as one point?
