To DIYer, if your neck of the woods has a Home Depot, they have door blanks...where I am they are $59, which is more than I would spend...but there they are.

Great idea. Unfortunately, solid core doors aren't exactly plentiful in my neck of the woods.

You just can't beat heavy-duty!  Two solid doors...now that's my kind of workbench.
