DESCRIPTION:
Homemade mill spindle ring light comprised of 54 white LEDs grouped into sets and wired in parallel. Each set consists of 9 LEDs wired in series, along with a 470-ohm limiting resistor. Power supply is 35V at 400 mA. Ring housing was machined from 0.6" nylon.

I have 2 sets, 1 with 18 x 6mm leds and 1 with a ring led, the last one I printed the fixture for the ring led with a extended outside skirt so its not shining in my eyes but straight down at the work.

At first I thought this was one of those circular lights...but no...homemade indeed.  That's a lot of work.
