Hi simple and effective solution. Did you have any problems with the propane torches blowing the powder off of the rim? I didn't read all of the thread but I did see you didn't use the grub screws inside the nipples, I am a UK wheel builder and I build a fair few BMW tubeless wheels and would not let them out unless the grub screws are fitted as we used to have the customers source the parts as they were OE. BMW at the time and I used to just advise customers to fit the grub screws if they hadn't supplied them and one didn't bother and his wheel loosened in use so now they all have them in before they leave me.
