    That's amazing. I was very indirectly involved in the shipbreaking operations for a couple of warships a few years ago. These were 60-ish year old destroyers, but a hull thickness analysis was done. It was interesting to see the data. Would something 110 years old have had its hull replaced? I can't imagine steel (or iron?) would be intact for that long while being directly exposed to sea water.
