Never seen one of these, although I have a friend who has a hand-operated one like the one here https://joybileefarm.com/lest-we-for...ne-to-freedom/ While he does make the occasional sock with it, he mostly makes soap holders/mitts for his main business, handmade soap.

Never seen such a small one. We had several much larger versions in our family knitwear factory in the 70's.
