Still remains of old track and bush engines scattered around the country, many close to what are now large cities.
Here is a photo of the six Fell system equipped engines working the Rimutaka Incline rail. There is a lot of work going on to restore this part of the rail trail by the Historic Steam Society.Attachment 38987

This loco was used for the building of the 5.25 mile Otira Tunnel from Otira to Arthurs Pass
