Looks like it's not a stereo image, just split for easier viewing.
Agreed, Early version of interpupillary adjustment. Beautiful instrument, none the less; like many products with someones NAME on it.
There's no mirror to direct light into the condenser below the stage. Nor do I see a fitting for attaching same. Regardless, Zeiss does beautiful work as always.
