1916 Owens Magnetic

Some of you may remember the thread about the CT Electric truck in storage at my shop
I can't find the tread right now but here is a car made in 1916 that we might call the first hybrid although it is not actually a hybrid since it doesn't run on the batteries.
It is quite unique in the way the car is propelled

Thanks for sharing this video Frank, absolutely fascinating. It is a marvel that engineering was so far advance over one hundred years ago and what was actually achieved with the limited resources of the period.
