Hahahahahahaha! I hear Boeing is using this on their next generation passenger jets to save on fuel, but the sails have to be made of carbon fiber to withstand 500 knots airspeed. There'll even be a little hatch in the top of the fuselage, so the flight attendants can go up and hoist signal flags in the event of a radio failure. They are all about the safety, now.
