An exit ramp would have been nice to have but then it wouldn't have looked like something out of the Keystone cops or the three Stooges

I believe you are correct if you look at the very top of the start ramp you can see some standing there it is only a brief glimpse as the gif starts with the car already nearly at the bottom of the starting ramp, Also if you look closely at the ramp and runway you can see a raised center proton this would indicate guiding rails.
Of course it is unmanned vehicle, they made some sort of guiding railways...plus starting ramp..
