I had a 1958 Albion bus. Entire Aluminium body built by ex- Aircraft mechanics and incredibly well made. Engine is a 9 1/2 litre four cylinder Diesel with lovely things like a centrifugal oil spinner pre filter.
It was used on the Piha run for many years and was one of the few vehicles able top get through in Winter. I gave it to a friend of mine who is converting it to a mobile home.
