1947 Convair XC-99 heavy transport aircraft - GIF

The Convair XC-99 heavy transport aircraft was the largest piston-engined land-based transport aircraft ever built. It was designed to carry 100,000 lb (45,000 kg) of cargo and had six radial engines in pusher configuration.

Here is the wing, landing gear from that plane. It's in the USAF Museum restoration area in Dayton, Ohio. I don't think it is a high priority for restoration anytime soon.
