There isn't much that a Unimog can't do...
Well, much as I like Unimogs (I have the big Lego model) and Mercedes (I have two), and German engineering, this contraption looks excessively complicated. Can't see any advantages over a typical American sliding ramp truck.

I've had two Unimogs, a 404.1 and a 404.0 DOCA. The main disadvantage with that rig is that it's only front wheel drive. Kinda takes away from the whole Unimog thing...
Are the rear wheels driven on this? If so, is it via hydraulic hub motors?
The rear wheels are just along for the ride...
