I very much want an Alfa, but I'm very certain it would be broken 100% of the time. Broken is their natural state.
There's a reason he never moved the car.... a friend had a 1970's Spyder that would occasionally die making left turns. Turned out the fuel pump (inside the gas tank!) had a problem when you took a sharp left at any speed above a crawl.

One car that I wanted is a Sunbeam Tiger. I knew a guy who had one. Maxwell smart had one at one point.
