There is one of those Centurions now far from where I live. It has had an engine upgrade at least once. Now it has a 1997 7.3 power stroke with turbo and a 6 sp manual transmission, according to the owner it gets around 14 MPG while towing 18MPG without a trailer according, but who knows it could get more or it could get a lot less. All I know is my 2 non turbo Ford pickups 1991 F250 and 1993 F350 with the 7.3 IDI engines 4 sp OD auto trans both get between 14 and 17 depending on if I drive 75 or if I drive 60 with Diesel hovering around $5.19 per gallon, I find myself driving 55 or 60 a lot more than I do 75
No wonder it's a rare RV. Manufactured for 2 years 1986-1988 on Ford chassis.
