2006 Isdera Autobahnkurier AK116i twin engine car designed by German engineer Eberhard Schulz who took inspiration from the 1937 Mercedes-Benz 540K Autohahnkurier. The vehicle is powered by two 5-liter Mercedes-Benz M117 engines - one driving the front wheels and the other driving the rear wheels.

With respect to "monsters and oddities" this is an interesting read. Although it states that it appeared for the first time in 1996 at Goodwood, I saw it racing many years earlier at Silverstone in the mid 50's. I was there with my brother and his boss Geoff, who was racing Aston Martin's "Red Dragon"
