    Also a centrifuge

I've printed the Dremel centrifuge: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1483

I used it to fraction blood and concentrate the floaties in pool water for microscopic examination. (For curiosity, not real science.)

Honestly having it spinning at ludicrous speeds with no safety guards except a smile is a little terrifying. If I was going to do that sort of thing with any regularity I'd print an enclosed unit instead.

That is interesting. I think I'd find a big can or such to contain it. I respect your curiosity: I just made a seismograph for fun.

I run a small nonprofit workshop and we are having a fantastic 3D printer that prints in carbon fiber donated to us. If you all need stuff, I might be able to help you get things made up for a fair fee, which will support the program and help us see more disabled vets.

(We teach knifemaking to disabled vets as a kind of martial art therapy.)

I should have the printer soon, and when I do, I'll post something and let everyone know that we have this resource.

That's awesome. 3D printing has a bit of a learning curve, more so for "exotic" filaments like the ones that have carbon fiber in them or inexpensive kit printers that require tweaking. This is an area where I'm competent. I'd like to volunteer to assist if I can. Please feel free to PM me if I can help.

I like those little routers. I have to think that some of these ideas are plants from Dremel, to sell even more Dremels. Well maybe not but here sure are a lot of neat approaches to outfitting a Dremel workshop.
