These 4-in-1 screwdrivers are very useful, especially for repairs outside the workshop or simply to have at hand at home office, as they can solve most situations where screws are involved.

You can buy turning kits for these screwdrivers (http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?p...campaign=V2050). And you can find several tutorials on how to make them, although they are not necessary, since the construction process is very simple.

This 4-in-1 screwdriver was made in January-2012, cannibalizing a cheap commercial item in order to use metal parts, and turning the handle on apple wood. The finish was sealer and lacquer.











I know, the utility is exactly the same, but if you do something like this, I'm sure that your perception about the tool will change.
