This '49 Willys Wagon build, by 49willys_mogon on the excellent Pirate4x4.com, is an extraordinary example of an old school, high-tech 4x4 build.

The builder combined a '49 and early '50s Willys Wagon body, with many subtle upgrades to address water and air entering, and great sheetmetal work that is not exactly common on 4x4 builds. A 383 stroker sits under the hood, and some serious suspension and frame work, with the help of some street rodders, turns this old wagon into an incredible ride.

You know you're in for a good ride when a build thread starts out with "I started by cutting the body in half".
