4x4Builds.net: 4Runner Truggy by ORS

This 4x4 rig by ORS on Colorado4x4.org starts with an '85 4Runner on stock axles, and transforms into a 4x4 buggy on frame. This is much more work than it sounds, because the buggy is going on a different frame, with a custom tube cage up top.

I like builds with a ton of pics, and this one packs in an extraordinary amount in just 2 pages of text, including the requisite welding shots: numerous stacked-dime welds, and sparks flying all over the shop. Really great example of a densely packed, well-documented build thread.

Ordinary vehicle goes in, sweet ride goes out.
