I may have asked this before but what good is an apparently made of brass drill bit with flutes that thin? Was it done just to prove the possibility or what?

That's a Titans of CNC video. They just run CNC machines to show their capabilities. They have a big showroom floor and some manufacturer will send them a new flagship machine, and then they'll either mill metal at unrealistic speeds (just turning it into a big pile of chips) or pick something difficult to show off the capabilities of the machine. They never do anything practical.
