Access Cover Lifter

I have a heavy yet delicate access cover that must be lifted out of the way every day. There is enough room for one finger in each hole cut into this cover. This makes it rather difficult to lift. There are also many spiders under the cover and some like to hang around these finger holes. Plenty of reason to make a homemade tool!

yep I learned a long time ago that fingers in holes that you can't see the back side of can cause a lot of pain.
One sting from a scorpion was enough
