Hoping to get parental approval for this! (Not my parents, you understand, but my son’s and his partner’s)
The grandchild is too young yet to play with this, but I did not know how long it would take, two and one half days, plus another day to put away the considerable number of storage items I got out. e.g., of all the bronze and steel bushes I have, I may have used 2. Screws: 6 types.
I expect you have seen this sort of thing, but I hope it might be of interest to HMT browsers, since it’s all stuff most of us have in our workshops.
Grandmother has been fulsome in her encouragement.
    I don’t think.
“You’ve got it too crowded!” and “What’s that TICKING noise?”

That's a nice build. Well done. Also it reminds me of something:

Well done. That ought to keep little explorers busy for awhile.

Philip: A wonderful idea, and it must be big fun to 'develop' it. In a 2nd version I would arrange it panorama-like with a certain/variable height - increasing the ergonomics. And I would consider which element would 'work' better on a horizontal plane. I imagine that subtle sound effects - like the ticking - would be very welcome. A medieval rattle mechanism, 'bells and whistles'.

    I love them both!!

In regard to the Man/Woman device, I am certain that it DOES NOT come with any information in regard to what affect or effect any of the adustments might have on any specific day.

Once you start pushing all of a woman's buttons it is already too late to just say yes dear and move on.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

"already too late to just say sorry dear, and get out of range...".
In worse scenarios, get out of range first, then phone apology in.
