Adding A Third Wheel to a Lectric XP eBike

My 62-pound Lectric XP eBike is a wonderful product … when unfolded. However, it is intended to be deadlifted into a car or truck when folded, which is not good for my 71-year-old back.

Without cutting into the bike, I am now able to roll the folded bike forward and backward on a ramp tied to my little Honda Fit.

Good work. Fixing oversights in the manufacturer's design.

But it does remind me of something. I apologize in advance.

How to render the Segway Human Transporter obsolete: add a third wheel.

I wouldn't call my attachment fixing an oversight. They never intended the user to roll the folding bike. However, I find the attachment is a necessity for me and my weak back.

The Segway is very cool... and useless. Simply adding a third wheel makes it un-cool and useful.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one good buddy. A Segway is basically rolling birth control. Any girlies catch you on one of those things and your chances drop to zero.

I remove the seat to reduce the height. It has a quick release.
