OH crap I missed this entire post!!!!!! Thank you very much for this innovative approach to a cross sled.
By the way, before I realized that you where building a prototype I wondered where you found a piece of construction timber flat and straight enough for a tool like this. That and I was thinking those little softwood components are going to split on you.

Thank you. It's definitely a little different than most people's sleds, but I have too much clutter in my shop as it is...I needed something that would take up a few jigs as well as allow me to keep my blade at 90 degrees (I'm a prude to a blade that's a little off). Thanks for the compliment!
