I could only recognize a couple of those plants she was growing but none of them look to be edible by humans. But then again, some people even eat rice.
Never try to tell me it can't be done

At 11 seconds there are two pots of basil with pretty impressive yields. My wife and I are basil crazed and have tried various techniques to grow it continuously but never have gotten those kind of yields. I make a pretty good Pesto from it with walnuts instead of pine nut @$10/ounce. I make about 4 small mason jars of it at a time which lasts for several months. I'm curious what they use as starts. This is very interesting but have concerns of the energy needed to run all those pumps and what nutrients they are adding to the water.

Recently saw a video on horizontal hydroponics in the far north of Canada grown in a hot house all driven by solar panels and yield enough for the whole village of a 150 people. Getting greens up there is really a challenge and very costly.
