Hi My name is "Van" {short for Van der Merwe} I Absolutely love tools and machines, I am a member of the South African Knife makers guild and do my own scrimshaw and engraving and make jewelry to, I consider my hobby as to make the tool to do the job. I build motorcycles and Bicycles and restore old motorcycles and motorcars, Currently busy with 2 x Harley's one is a 1941 WLA army style with Sidecar and No 2 is a 1942 WLA military police. Just bought a 1938 Dodge Power wagon Carry all. Hope to learn and also share my little knowledge. My workshop is 194 square meter and full of machines mostly self built except for the a few like my Lathe and milling machine etc.
I love hunting when time permits.

Thanks for the warm welcome, currently I am building a foot pedal stand for my Crimper shrinker. I am busy building a Bicycle for my grand daughter and I have to do the mudguards Indian Motorbike style, I used my crimper with hand push for a long time but my shoulder for some reason does not like it anymore, maybe old age ha ha
