Aluminium Half Reels for Air Hose Management

I have used empty spools from welding wire and empty spools from 3D filament for the same purpose. These, of course, are not made of aluminum, but ABS or other plastics or even other materials.

The empty spools from other applications are so plentiful, I don't bother to cut them. Sometimes that "inside of the wrap" part is easier to mount the spool to the wall.

If you want to trim them to halves, a band saw works, just be careful if there are pinching stresses when you cut. You can cut them with a hand saw as well.

They can also be used as a single spool for hanging extension cords.
