The Home Engineer; I like every feature of this project. My wet bandsaw, larger and really old, is needing much the same attention. Can offer just one suggestion that might help. Rig a little dam around filter base that stops larger particles, and small openings somewhat above the bottom creates a weir to restrain them as well.
