More gadgetry like those key-shaped button pushers and door openers.

Disposable nitrile gloves can be had for as little as fifteen cents. They allow full use of hands and require no decontamination - just throw in trash as you leave store.

Gloves are decent coverage, provided sanitary gloving and de-gloving are used. But COVID keys and these hand grips only capitalize on paranoia, as if hand washing is forgotten. Regardless how real COVID is, the sensationalism is far worse. When time comes and truth revealed, some of us will not be awfully surprised, or go well for the perpetrators.

Or avoid the grocery store entirely if you can. We do Walmart delivery for dry goods, Amazon Fresh delivery for produce/dairy, and we just got a 1/4 cow and a lamb from a butcher. Less money, time, and exposure risk.

There is some talk about transitioning away from a food shopping model that involves many people wandering around amongst food just before it is purchased.
