    Armless wood chopper - GIF

    Armless wood chopper.

BTW, I am on my second year of using my new method to split kindling. I place the logs upright in a 4-foot circle and I wrap it all tightly around the perimeter with a ratcheting tow strap. I chop away, and then I flip over the 4-foot log disc and chop a little on the underside. Then I release the tow strap and I have a bunch of kindling. I do this on the asphalt section of the driveway; the circle is wrapped so tightly that the maul head will not be able to fit through to the bottom of the disc of logs, so the blade doesn't contact the asphalt.

Gotta go with an appropriate initialism to identify his achievements... DIYWA. Great props to this brave fellow. He, astoundingly, exemplifies the human spirit.

This guy’s attitude is fantastic. A truely disabled person who, in spite of his disability does what he needs to to get the job done. All too often in this country people are paid by this government to be on disability, when they have depression or ADD. I feel that everyone can work, they just need to figure out what they can do in spite of,(not because of) their disability. Bravo to this man!
