Atmospheric carbon capture strategies - infographic

Direct air capture is a scam. It should be called direct funding capture.
I've never heard of electrifying sea water. That sounds very interesting. I'll have to read up on that.

All pointless, unless your an academic scamming the funding bodies to support the politicians robbing the public through ever increasing taxes.

I always marvel at how these save the planet strategies never address the primary problem - too damn many people on the planet and the number is growing exponentially; Malthus was right.
Unsurprisingly, the countries that have the highest birth rates are those with the least resources to deal with the problem as examination of the CIA's fact book will show...

Doesn't that generate chlorine gas? Must not be like an electrolysis process.

Yup. Sure does. Years ago, probably 2005-ish, I was working on a project to "disinfect" fishing nets from zebra mussels and other biofouling. That's how we were doing it.

Interesting. What did you do? Just allow it to dissipate? Invasive species are difficult to deal with.

In theory, the chlorine just dissipates into the air. Same as leaving a cup of chlorinated water out on your counter for a few hours. In reality we didn't do anything because it didn't work.
