Some fun facts for the planets...
A day on Venus (243 earth days) is longer than its year (225 earth days). Not only that, the sun rises in the west because the rotation direction is opposite that of earth and most of the rest of the planets.
Uranus was discovered by a composer turned astronomer, Wilhelm Herschel. (He's better known for his science than his music.) Uranus, like Venus, rotates opposite of the earth's rotation. Its rotation axis points almost directly at the sun so for half a year the northern hemisphere is sunlit and the southern dark; v.v. for the other half year.
